I am one of the company’s founders and I am responsible for ES at a strategy and executive level, rather than an operational one.
I have been an entrepreneur for as long as I can remember. My first business was a small bar and restaurant. At the age of 26 I made an effort to experience as much opportunity as I could before I was 30 years old.
I invested my time and capital into multiple businesses at considerable risk in order to gain experience. Many failed – and some succeeded.
A standout experience during this time was building up a small transport company. I learned a lot about employment and customers.
I’d always wanted to work with other entrepreneurs, and I found myself working in local government supporting high technology start-up.
I began gravitating towards tech companies due to the speed at which they move – and have been playing in the space ever since.
One of the things I love about Empire State is the family feel. We all share the same values, and my partner and I work well together.
Every day is challenging, which is what I enjoy. Each day has a variety of tasks for multiple solutions that keep things interesting.
I’m also involved in a number of projects outside of Empire State. These include projects called StockBox, Will and MySuggestion.
My ultimate goal is to conceive and develop technology solutions that change peoples lives. Significant social change is what we need to see in the world – and I would like to believe I could steer the opportunity with the experience I’ve gained in the industry over the years.
Something people may be surprised to know about me is that I love puzzles and I want to find the time to learn how to play the piano.
